Effective July 14, 2026
The short version: ADHDough doesn't require an account, doesn't show ads, and doesn't track you. Your bakes, photos, journal, and starter live on your phone — not on our servers. The only time anything leaves your device is when you ask Doughlene to analyze a photo, use her voice chat, or buy a subscription. We never sell your data. Ever.
ADHDough ("ADHDough," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent iOS app made by a husband-and-wife team. This policy explains what information the app handles, where it goes, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose.
Almost everything you create in ADHDough is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to us:
We can't see this information. Because there's no account, it isn't synced to a server we control. If you delete the app, this data is removed with it.
When you ask Doughlene to analyze a loaf or crumb photo, that image and a short text prompt are sent — through our secure processing service (Supabase) — to Anthropic's Claude AI, which generates the feedback and rating you see. The photo is used to produce your analysis in the moment. We do not use your photos for advertising, and we do not sell them.
If you use Doughlene's live voice chat, your microphone audio and relevant bake context are sent to our voice provider (ElevenLabs) and AI provider to power the real-time conversation. Voice chat only runs while you choose to use it.
Subscriptions and purchases are handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, our subscription-management provider. Apple processes your payment — we never see your card or Apple ID. From RevenueCat we receive your subscription status and an anonymous identifier so the app knows whether ADHDough Pro is active. This lets features unlock and lets you restore purchases on a new device.
Fold reminders, bulk timers, and the morning bake alert are scheduled locally on your device. You can turn notifications off anytime in your iPhone Settings.
The limited data that leaves your device is handled by a small set of trusted providers, each only for the purpose described above:
ADHDough is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll address it.
Because your content lives on your device, you're in control of it. You can delete individual bakes inside the app, turn off notifications or microphone access in iPhone Settings, and remove all app data by deleting the app. For questions about your information, email us anytime.
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Effective" date above and post the new version here. Significant changes will be reflected in the app or on this page.
